Our Program

What are the Tomahawks all about?

Boys and girls of all ability levels are welcome but must have basic skating skills to start: forwards/backwards, stop/start, pivots/turns. Our coaching will continue to improve strong skating skills, stick handling, passing, shooting, and hockey sense. While many of our players are from the Pascack Valley Regional School District, we are not restricted to any town or school district. Players from other house or travel programs are welcome to join. We do require that each player is registered under USA Hockey.

Our philosophy is that each player should experience all game situations, including penalty kills and power plays, in order to learn and master those situations. By building a solid foundation through practice, our players will aspire to take on those challenges and continue in their hockey skills and situational development
